LG Electronics said that it would unveil its first Google TV next week and is going to join in Sony Corp and Samsung Electronics Co in making partnership with search giant to get foothold in emerging Internet TV market.Google helps in replicating the success of its Android mobile software in TV market and its attempt to conquer the living room has got only limited success due to lack of web content and support from hardware manufacturers.

Google TV allows the customers to access online videos and websites on TV’s  and on specialised apps like video games.As of now it is planning to built on Sony Ericsson models and Samsung is working with US firm to launch TV’s.LG has said that it would introduce its First Google TV next week at annual consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

Google has said that the chipmaker Marvell Technology Group, Chip designer Media Tek and TV manufacturer Vizio are the new partners for its Google TV service.As there is slow demand and cutthroat competition, the TV manufacturers forays into Internet TV market that helps the cushion squeezed margins.According to research firm display search, Global market grows only 2 percent this year after no growth in 2011 due to the soft consumer demand amid a week global economy.
